Principle

  • Sample Homogenization and Lysis: Soil or stool samples are homogenized and treated in a specially formulated buffer containing detergent. This process effectively lyses bacteria, yeast, and fungal samples.
  • Removal of Contaminants: Our proprietary Absorber Solution is utilized to remove humic acid, proteins, polysaccharides, and other contaminants from the lysed sample.
  • DNA Binding and Column Application: After adjusting binding conditions, the treated sample is applied to a DNA Mini Column, facilitating the binding of DNA to the column matrix.
  • Rapid Wash Steps: Two rapid wash steps are employed to remove trace contaminants, ensuring the purity of the extracted DNA.
  • Elution of Purified DNA: Pure DNA is eluted from the column in a low ionic strength buffer, providing high-quality, purified DNA ready for downstream applications.
  • Direct Use in Downstream Applications: The purified DNA can be directly used in downstream applications without the need for further purification steps, streamlining laboratory workflows and saving time.
